How do I know if I want to print my work litho or digital?
We will quote on the most economic method for you taking into account the jobs suitability for digital print.
How much notice do I need to give?
To help us give you the best possible service it is helpful to have as much notice as possible of any projects you may have. We will then reserve you press space which is particularly important if you have a tight deadline.
Do you carry out all of your work on site?
All scanning and studio work as well as digital, B3 & B2 litho work are produced 24hrs a day in house. Our finishing department carries out folding, die cutting, saddle stitching, collating, wiro binding, counting, and drilling from 6am until 5pm 5 days a week.
Can my printing be done in 24 hours?
Yes, depending on the size of the project and press availability at the time of the request.
Are you able to provide a design service?
Yes. We have a creative department that can turn your ideas into a finished design.
Do I have to collect my job from you?
No. We have a worldwide delivery service. One of our fleet of delivery vehicles will deliver to a London postcode address free of charge.
Can someone visit me to give advice on a project?
A member of our sales team can do this. All of our sales staff have at least five years experience in the printing industry and are trained to offer the best advice not just take an order!
I need 100 business cards printing. Is this too small for you?
No job is too small. We have a range of presses that cope with the smallest of jobs through to large corporate brochures.
How can we get our artwork to you?
Files up to 10mb can be sent via email to studio@impressprint.net up to 50mb by ISDN to 020 8871 4829 due to the download times any larger files are best saved to disk for one of our drivers to collect from you. If you send artwork through electronically please also send an order to production@impressprint.net.
Can you print with metallic colours?
Yes and we are approved to print with the MetalFX system.
Can you accept PC files?
We accept files on Mac and PC although we do prefer to work with Mac based software.
How should I save my files in PDF format?
Make sure you have allowed 3mm bleed and save using the “printready” option with the fonts embedded.
It is much quicker for me to use the shortcut bar to "embolden" and "Italicise" fonts. Is this ok?
No! Although this works on your screen preview and office printer it will cause problems when going to our high resolution printers. Please use and supply the correct screen and printer fonts with all jobs.
